Suspect Arrested in Armed Robberies

BEAUFORT, SC (January 10, 2014/4:00 PM) – A Seabrook man has been arrested in connection with the armed robberies of two Burton area businesses.

Forty-six year old Marvin Ellis Frazier was arrested today at his Delaney Circle home. Witnesses positively identified Frazier as the suspect in the January 2^nd armed robbery of the China Wok restaurant (350 Shanklin Rd), leading investigators to obtain warrants for charges of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Felon in Possession of a Handgun.

During the course of interviews conducted subsequent to Frazier’s arrest, he was also identified as the suspect in the January 5^th armed robbery of Sunhouse Petroleum (3448 Trask Pkwy). For that incident, Frazier has been charged with the additional charges of Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, Felon in Possession of a Handgun, and Pointing and Presenting a Firearm at a Person.
